What does my $75 Session Fee Cover?
Your Session Fee covers the photoshoot itself, including hair and makeup. It is regularly $299, so this is a great price!
How much does it cost to purchase photos?
The cost of photos depends on how many of your pictures you end up loving, and how you would like to display them. Our photo products start at $700, which is for one small piece of wall art called an "Amalfi Panel" and its corresponding digital file. Some people just purchase that one piece of wall art but most clients end up buying one of our collections which include albums, wall art and digital files. You don't decide on photo purchases until you see your pictures and there's no obligation to buy anything (but everyone usually does). We also have in-house e-transfer or credit card payment plans available, which most of our clients use. Our 6-month plan is interest-free, and our 6-12 month plans have an interest charge of 4%. We work hard to make the purchase doable so that you can make the most of the Boudoir Experience.
Do I have to bring my own clothing?
Yes, we get you to bring in 5-7 outfits of your choosing. We always recommend some lingerie and some casual outfits like tank tops, t-shirts, button-downs, etc. We also highly recommend purchasing lingerie from sites like Shein, Temu and Amazon, as it is difficult to find lingerie stores in our area. If you are short on outfits for your session, we do have a studio closet from which we can pull other options.
How much time do I have to schedule my session?
I would like to do a phone consultation with you by the first or second week of December to help you prep (but a call within the first day or two of purchasing a session is best). The session itself has to take place before March 31st, 2026.
Where are you located?
We have a beautiful studio in Fernie, BC. We are at 581 2nd Avenue in the Henderson building. You can access us from the alley-side of the building, across the alley from The Good Earth/Mugshots building (yellow building).

Our Boudoir Process
STEP 1: CONSULTATION
Once you purchase a Black Friday Session, the first step is a phone consultation with Leah. She will take you through all the details of the shoot such as our posing system, what clothing to bring, photo pricing, etc. Once you have all the info and ask all of your questions, we'll find a date for your session.
STEP 2: TRANSFORMATION
When you arrive for your boudoir session, Leah will do your hair and makeup. We are going for a dramatic makeup style that will make you feel and look glamorous - but not overdone! We want your hair to look tousled and bed-head so a loose curl works beautifully. Makeup and hair can be personalized, however, and we are eager to work with you to make you look your best.
STEP 3: THE SHOOT
The photoshoot portion of your session is the most fun! Though you may be nervous for the first few minutes, you will be feeling comfortable and confident before too long. Kevan's posing process is indestructible - it works for EVERYONE. Also, Leah is always there to lend a hand for outfit and hair adjustments. So, all you have to do is put on an outfit and we will guide you through every single detail of the posing - right down to how you lay your hands and how you point your toes!
STEP 4: THE REVEAL
About 1-2 weeks after your session, we will reveal our favourite photos in an Ordering Appointment. Expect to love WAY MORE photos than you expect! Our clients are blown away every single time by their amazing images - and you will be too! Our albums, canvases, metal prints, folio boxes and more are keepsakes that you will treasure for the rest of your life!
MEET THE DECORO TEAM
We are a husband and wife team from Fernie, BC. Kevan is the photographer and has been shooting weddings since 2007 and portraits since 2012. We began Decoro in 2013 and have had a full-time studio since then. We have been married 21 years, and have three children aged 14, 12 and 10.
Terms and Conditions
Once you purchase one of our Black Friday Boudoir Sessions, we will send you an email asking you to set up a phone consultation. That call is the best way to get all the info, ask all your questions, and set the date for your photoshoot.
Your Boudoir Session includes hair and makeup and 2.5 hours of studio time. You purchase photos at an Ordering Appointment 1-2 weeks after your photoshoot. There is no obligation to purchase, but most people do. Our photography products start at $700, which is for one small hand-crafted Italian-made wall art piece called an "Amalfi Panel". Most of our clients purchase collections that include Italian albums, large wall art pieces and digital files. No-interest payment plans are available so that you can splurge on all your favourite photos with no regret.
Your photoshoot must take place before March 31, 2026.
